Population of Pakistan from 1947 to 2025
At the time of independence in 1947, Pakistan’s estimated population was around 30 million (3 crore). According to the 1941 census conducted during British rule, the regions that later became Pakistan had a population of approximately 29.5 to 29.7 million, making 30 million a reasonable estimate.
